Aston Martin has announced the release of a limited edition supercar Vantage V12 S. The series is timed to coincide with the eightieth anniversary of one of the most iconic and significant fighters of the Second World War, the Spitfire.

A total of 8 copies of the model will be produced. Like the first versions of the fighter, the cars will be painted in green, and thin yellow lines will run along the body.

In addition, the supercar will be equipped with a massive front bumper made of carbon fiber, a rear bumper with an original diffuser and exhaust pipes made in an aviation style.

The idea of the Spitfire fighter is continued in the interior of the car, where there will be leather mats and special fighter embroidery on the headrests of the seats. From a technical point of view, we have a classic Vantage V12 S, equipped with a powerful 573-horsepower 5.9-liter engine. The engine is paired with a modern 7-band robotic gearbox, the gears of which can be changed not only with the classic gearshift lever, but also with paddle shifters.

The car has impressive dynamic characteristics - acceleration from 0 to 100 takes less than 4 seconds, and the maximum possible speed is 305 km / h.

To become the owner of the unique Vantage V12 S Spitfire, potential buyers will have to fork out at least £ 220,000, while the automaker intends to use all the proceeds to donate to charity and support veterans of the Air Force.
