The new A5 and the charged S5 are two more novelties that Audi presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Unlike the Audi RS7 Sportback, which received a lot of updates, this A5 model rather received individual elements than a completely new generation. The exterior of the Audi A5 has acquired a modified radiator grille, front and rear bumpers, modern optics (LED optics are installed in the base model, and matrix LED optics are offered as an option).
The interior of the Audi A5 2020 also received minor improvements. In particular, the functional part has changed. Now starting from the basic equipment, the dashboard is fully digital, based on a 12.3 ″ display. The multimedia display is now 10.1 ″, with gesture recognition or voice control. Under the hood of the updated Audi A5 2020, a two-liter gasoline engine is available, with 190 or 245 hp. Diesel units are three, despite the recent scandal. Among them are a 2.0-liter TDI with 163 and 190 hp, as well as a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 with 231 hp. If we talk about the charged Audi S5 series, then in Europe the novelty will be offered with a turbocharged diesel engine with a volume of 3.0 liters and a capacity of 347 horses.
For other countries, the Audi S5 will also be offered with a gasoline turbocharged unit with a volume of 3.0 liters and a capacity of 354 horses. It remains to wait for the appearance of new items on sale, so that you can understand how else the manufacturer will be able to please fans of the model.
