Sports cars always attract with their appearance and the sound of a powerful engine. Bugatti has long been renowned for its powerful sports cars and powerful engines. Veyron is considered one of the famous these days. The company has its origins in 1909, the first model released is the Bugatti 13. This is how the history of the sports car manufacturer began.
The last creation of the company was a car of the Veyron model, there were many legends and comparisons about it. But recently the Veyron sports car gave up its position, its mentor was a completely new Chiron. The characteristics and parameters of the car for public roads surprised many motorists.
Exterior of the new Chiron
In 2015, the concept of the new Bugatti Veyron Gran Turismo was presented at the Frankfurt Auto Show, but everyone thought it was another modification of the sports car. But over time, this concept acquired a new name Chiron. In many ways, it resembles the Veyron, but there are also characteristic differences, both outside and inside.
The front end of the Bugatti Chiron is stretched like its predecessor. The distinctive small grille with chrome surrounds indicates that the powerful engine is mounted behind the seats. A very small trunk with a volume of only 44 liters was placed in front, this is enough to put a small suitcase for an easy trip.
At the top of the Chiron grille, as in the Veyron, the company emblem is placed. As such, there is no bumper in the new items, it is fused with the side fenders. The lower part of the front end is accentuated by two vents for better aerodynamics with mesh inserts. The hood of the Bugatti Chiron is made in the form of a triangle, with a curved strip in the middle. The most expressive and strict front can be considered modern LED optics. Instead of the usual round or oblong headlights, the Bugatti Chiron optics are square, four on each side.
The big details of the Chiron's beauty are no longer to be found, all suggesting that the engineers and designers have worked to maximize aerodynamics. The side section is similar in many ways to the Bugatti Veyron. The wheel arches became more hollow, but the doors and mirrors were left the same, with turn repeaters.
The difference from its predecessor can be called improved aerodynamics, the air intake near the side doors, tightened from the bottom, in a circle and to the front pillar. This is an indicator that, in addition to water cooling, there will be good air cooling. The Veyron had a much smaller air intake, as well as two additional ones at the rear of the roof. The rear fenders of the Chiron, like the front ones, are made monolithic with the struts. There will be no sunroof or panorama on the roof of the Bugatti Chiron, instead there will be a stiffener, since the speed of the supercar is really like that of an airplane, and the G-forces will be huge.
If you take the rear end of the Bugatti Chiron, it is very different from the Veyron. Instead of the well-known round rear optics, the new Chiron has a long, full-width LED strip. With streamlined side stripes. Above the optics, the company emblem in the form of the letter "B" is located. The rear wing is hidden even higher, it is hidden, since, depending on the speed and aerodynamic conditions, it can change its position and height in relation to the wind flow. Thus, pressing against the road surface and improving the maneuverability of the Bugatti Chiron. In the very center is the engine cover.
The exhaust system of the Bugatti Chiron is characteristic of a powerful sports car unit, in the center there is one large, chrome-plated nozzle, divided into four holes, but if you look closely, there are a total of six exhaust. The body is made of lightweight materials, carbon fiber, carbon fiber and all that kind of stuff for a strong and light base, but not metal. The design of the new Bugatti Chiron is austere and truly rich, despite the fact that the design was based on power and aerodynamics.
In total, the Bugatti Chiron is designed for two seats, including the driver. The dimensions of the sports car are considerable:

If the Chiron engine is powerful, then the fuel tank should be appropriate, but alas, not to say that it is so large, only 100 liters. Its curb weight is 1995 kg.
In body color, the new Chiron will be available in eight different color combinations:
- black and blue;
- black and red;
- red and white;
- black and cream;
- blue and white;
- black and gray;
- black;
- blue.
At the request of the buyer, the color can be unique. In total, Bugatti plans to release 500 copies of the Chiron model. What the modifications will be is only to be expected. The sports car will be installed 20 "in front and 21" in the rear, this will provide better traction and increased handling.
The interior of the new Chiron 2017
The interior of the new Bugatti Chiron, although it does not have a large number of control buttons and multimedia screens, can boast of a dashboard. The front panel is made in a characteristic sporty style. Unlike the Bugatti Veyron, the Chiron's central part of the panel is elongated and has only 4 knobs for controlling the climate control, the air supply and direction flap, as well as an emergency parking button.
The Bugatti Chiron panel itself is made of carbon fiber, like most parts of the car. The gearshift knob and the Start / Stop button of the engine were also located here. As many experts say, it could have been made larger, since it would be inconvenient to press due to its small size. The most interesting in the Chiron is the dashboard, the designers decided to combine analog and digital technologies. An analog speedometer is located in the center, at the bottom of the speedometer is a digital speedometer repeater with indicators which gear is on. There are color displays on the right and left. On the right, information from various auxiliary systems, navigation maps, overboard temperature and hours are displayed. The Chiron's left display is used to display information on the car, it also shows the tachometer, engine temperature, distance traveled and other little things.
The steering wheel is not the same as that of the Veyron. Covered in leather with chrome inserts, made in a sporty style. Behind the steering wheel, as expected, there are two paddle shifters. On the right and on the left are the menu and sound control buttons. At the bottom of the steering wheel there are two round barrels, these are digits with indicators for controlling the functions of the car.
The seats of the new Chiron are the same as in the Veyron, sporty style and model lettering on the headrest. Between the seats, the entire opening is occupied by the technical part of the gearbox, but only its upper part is visible from the passenger compartment.
In color, the Chiron will be available in brown, black, cream, white and blue, but it can be made in any other shade if desired. Only high-quality leather with polished aluminum inserts will be used as materials for the upholstery of the Chiron's interior. Let's just say that the interior turned out to be simple but tasteful, with a minimum of buttons for control and maximum comfort for driving at high speeds.
Technical data Bugatti Chiron
Often in production cars you can find different engines, gasoline or diesel, manual transmission or automatic transmission. Everything about the new Bugatti Chiron is solid but powerful. Behind the seats is a super-powerful W16 engine namely "W". The engine power is developed by four turbines. The engine displacement is 8 liters, the Bugatti Chiron is paired with an automatic seven-speed gearbox, just like the Veyron. With two clutches, thanks to which power is transmitted to all four wheels.
Unlike rivals McLaren P1, Porsche 918 or LaFerrari, the new Chiron runs on regular gasoline without any impurities. Rumor has it that they can still modify the engine to increase power, but for now it is as it is. The engine power is 1500 hp.with a maximum torque of 2000 Nm. The Bugatti Chiron will accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in 2.5 seconds, to 200 km / h in 6.5 seconds, and in 13.6 seconds the car will pick up 300 km / h.
Indeed, the power is great, but the consumption will surprise even more, as already said the volume of the tank is 100 liters, the Veyron was able to consume its capacity in 12 minutes, while driving at a constant maximum speed, the Chiron coped with such a task in 9 seconds.
Despite the fact that the speedometer indicates a maximum speed of 500 km / h, but the Bugatti engineers decided to limit the speed to 420 km / h, which is 5 km / h more than the Veyron Super Sport. Although the tire maker Michelin, whose tires are fitted to the Chiron, says the car will hold up even more.
The main problem for the Bugatti Chiron engineers was temperature control, since such a powerful engine and 4 turbines warmed up very quickly. As a result, it was decided to place 10 radiators around the entire perimeter of the car. According to Bugatti, during operation, about 60,000 liters of air are driven through the Chiron's engine, and the pump pumps about 800 liters of coolant.
We can talk about the technical characteristics of the new Bugatti Chiron for a long time, but we tried to bring the most important parameters higher.
Sports car security system
At the heart of the Chiron sports car is a carbon monocoque, which at speed is able to withstand large overloads and impacts. From the standard set, we can note the presence of airbags in the steering wheel and on the front panel for the passenger. Side airbags were located on the front pillars and on the side.
A stability control system, a rear view camera, a blind spot monitoring system - this is not a complete list that the engineers have installed on board the Bugatti Chiron. The sports suspension contributes to an easy and agile handling, while special ceramic brakes and an adaptive wing contribute to a smooth stop of the car.
The full list of security systems is not yet known, but it is known for sure that engineers will equip the Chiron as much as possible.
Completion and cost of new items
As already mentioned, there will be only one complete set in terms of technical parameters. But every buyer can change the external and internal design for himself for an additional fee. The color, both outside and inside, can be matched to taste and lined inside in any specified way or material.
The cost of the Bugatti Chiron starts at 2.4 million euros, but despite this price, 120 copies out of 500 have already been sold and there is talk of expecting another 27 such cars from the factory. For the most part, these are famous car collectors or billionaires who know where to invest their money. Indeed, this Bugatti Chiron is the result of the art of engineers and designers.
