The new generation differs from the previous one in that the company practically abandoned those round and smooth shapes, and switched to angular, slightly aggressive ones. In general, the new Land Rover Ewok looks very stocky, solid and beautiful, in every sense of the word.
The crossover profile shouldn't be overlooked either. Yes, the stamping has remained practically unchanged, but the new wheels, new optics in the front and rear, which look at the fenders, look very, very good. It is also worth noting the new geometry of the roof rails, it should make the car even more attractive.
I would also like to mention the stern. There are new taillights, again, rectangular in shape, the rear bumper is not painted in body color, for any fee. Moreover, the buyer can choose one of eight variants of the exhaust pipes.

Previously, the company focused on technology, on helping the driver, on making his life easier, but now everything has changed. Not that they paid no attention to the driver at all, they just paid a little more attention to the passengers, especially those in the back, more on that later. For starters, the instrument panel. Now, as it has become fashionable among manufacturers, it is a single high definition display with very beautiful graphics. Here you have maps, devices, multimedia controls, and everything your heart desires. The driver does not have to be distracted from the road at all to call, write an SMS, or read it. Also plot a route, see the remaining fuel or do something else.
The driver's seat in the maximum configuration has a sporty profile, and the parts of this very seat are adjustable in 14 directions, so it can be ideally adjusted to any figure. There is also heating, ventilation and massage.
The front passenger, as always, will not be bored. For this, the multimedia system is equipped with a display with Dual View technology. It is designed in such a way that the driver and passenger, who sit at different angles, see a different picture. For example, the driver may have navigation enabled, and the passenger may have a movie.
Climate control, of course, is three-zone, the rear passengers are also taken care of. Another point to which I would like to draw your attention is the displays in the headrests. In general, in the new Ewok, everyone, except the driver, can do whatever he wants, although the driver too, if you take into account all the assistants that are installed here.
The luggage compartment can accommodate about 1145 liters when the second row is folded, and if there are 4 people in the cabin, then 545 liters of cargo. This is enough, say, for three rather large suitcases.
Actually, a few words about design. At first glance, the center console is a little annoying, on which there is no gear lever. Instead, there is a small washer that rises when the engine is started. There is simply no point in describing the rest, since you just need to see it. But what can I say, Land Rover has always been able to stand out from the crowd, combine brutality, style and beauty together.

Now it's time to talk about what's inside the car. Let us immediately recall several assistant systems that are designed to help the driver. La start, ford depth control system. It is an ultrasonic sensor that is installed in the rear-view mirrors. Thus, when the car enters the ford, the system shows the depth in real time.
Next is the descent control system. It should be said right away that it turns off after 35 km / h, four-wheel drive also works. The latter is able to connect within 0.2 seconds after the front wheels slip. So, the descent control system determines the angle at which the Ewok is, and then sets the optimal engine operation.
The All Terrain Progress Control system automatically detects the type of surface, and then sets the mode of operation of the suspension, torque, brake sensitivity and much more. It also only works when 4WD is active.
Any engine that is available on the Russian market has an automatic transmission with 9 shifting steps. I must admit that it is really very good when you look at the dynamics and consumption of the engines. We will talk about this now. So, the base engine, 2.2 liters, 150 horsepower, diesel. Acceleration of the 1,675-kg Evok to a hundred will take 9.6 seconds, and the maximum speed will not exceed 182 km / h. Ideal for the city, especially when you consider the consumption on the highway in 6 liters and 7.8 liters in the city.
The second power unit is slightly more powerful, 190 horsepower. This is the same unit, but with a different firmware. It will need no more fuel than the previous one, but the dynamics are much better: 8.5 to hundreds and a maximum of 195 km / h.
The top engine is powered by gasoline, its volume is 2 liters, the power is 240 horses, and the torque is 340 Nm. Very good, and the dynamics of 7.6 seconds to hundreds is cool. The maximum of this configuration is 217 km / h. Fuel consumption, of course, is slightly higher: 7.8 liters on the highway, 9 liters of AI-95 gasoline in the city.
