Information that a new generation of the famous Infiniti QX60 will appear in the near future appeared a year ago. The manufacturer has repeatedly exhibited teaser photos, various versions of concepts, but until recently there were no real photos. Now the 2021 Infiniti QX60 has been declassified. The three-row crossover remained recognizable, but at the same time it received a lot of modern technology.
The official debut of the second generation Infiniti QX60 is expected in early 2021, but how it will go is not yet specified. It is possible that some details may change. An interesting fact is that, according to the manufacturer, this is an indicator of how other cars of the brand will look in the future. It is the new Infiniti QX60 that has become an indicator of design, which means that in the near future we should expect the appearance of new generations of other models of the Infiniti brand.
As already noted by experts, the new Infiniti QX60 is somewhat reminiscent of the Range Rover Velar, especially the two-tone body paint and retractable door handles. The design itself has lost the well-known S-shaped lines. There is also no previous abundance of chrome and a stamp on the hood of the crossover. Another point that they decided to keep is the side mirrors with a traditional arrangement.
What will be installed under the hood of the new Infiniti QX60 has not yet been named. It is possible that the car may inherit the characteristics of its predecessor, along with the transverse arrangement of the engines. The basic version will most likely be front-wheel drive. Also in the list of engines, a turbocharged petrol unit with 4 cylinders with a volume of 2.0 liters is expected. With a high probability, we can say that the aspirated V6 with a volume of 3.5 liters remains in the range of engines. In a pair, a variator will most likely be installed.
The presented car received blank glazing, which did not allow looking at the interior in any way. Accordingly, it is difficult to understand what the new product will be equipped with in the middle, similarly whether the car will have 2 or 3 rows of seats. Still, the dimensions of the body speak for the spacious interior of the 2021 Infiniti QX60, and the exterior design will match the modern interior.
